I get that it's "cool" or whatever now to come on his own forums and make fun of Phil, but he really doesn't deserve this kind of treatment from the internet. That's right, I'm talking to you, internet. You ought to be ashamed.
Phil is really a nice, intelligent, honest, generous, humble, average guy, just your run of the mill moral paragon. Detractors like you merely TWIST his words for PROFIT. You'll take a WHOLE, 40-hour playthrough and only clip the TWO OR THREE TIMES he said the n-word. You claim his 100% authentic Español accent based on his high school teacher is stereotypically racist somehow. You say he begs, when in reality he hardly talks about money at all anymore, except ways to support, superchats, though he won't get paid for those until next month, and tips, which right now are the best way to support because he gets those immediately, buying a membership or buying a gift membership to support the community, another viewer would really love it, we haven't had any viewer bombs in a while, and they keep expiring, but that's youtube I guess, or you can support behind-the-scenes, there's three levels of tip goals and the member goal for the day is 500, it dropped back down last night unfortunately, $50 for gunnar glasses, $100 for a silly hat and a vest for $150, it's a while since we've hit a vest goal and he has a great vest for two night, this is his full-time job, it's how he makes his living, no advertiseMENTs, no shilling, just community-driven crowd-funding, he just made a $400 dollar investment in a new joystick and he's not desperate for money at the moment or he'd tell us, the original crowd-funding, from people who enjoy his style of curated content, though this has been one of his lowest-supported streams all year, and if we don't have more engagement (and support) we might have to drop this game.
No matter how much he changes or how many times he apologizes for his mistakes which were definitely all more than several years (a decade, come to think of it) ago, you people won't let go, because you're mentally ill. I mean you do it for profit, and you do it because you're mentally ill, y'see. It's both. There is a mentally ill goldmine of an industry profiting on Phil, unfortunately.
There is no way that people who are on the whole good could find Phil's flaws and foibles amusing, because again he has none. And those he does have are sympathy-eliciting-style, not fun-to-laugh-at-style.
He actually has a very hard life, despite how good and average a person he is, because the detractors and internet and Comcast and Doordash and the hospital and the mechanic and the vet and the plumber and his parents at the toy store and the fates and the girls in high school and the FGC and affirmative action and the helicopter company and the states of Washington and Connecticut have all been aligned against him. For example, his home has an external mailbox instead of one integrated into the front door, he often feels too hot and his delivery food frequently arrives cold.
He told us on discord that when he was a baby his mom was opening a cabinet while holding him and the corner hit him in the head and that's why his head has a depression in it and why his hairline and personality are so messed up. He said that even though he was a baby at the time he could never trust her nor women in general fully after that moment, ever again. So yeah, I do have sympathy for the guy, especially compared to you obsessive, mouth-drooling jackals.
I have also sent this post to Phil in an email to make sure he doesn't listen to any of this detractor nonsense. You guys aren't even funny.
